Now that most flowers have absconded from our Northern Hemisphere, I offer this site as a place to show us your leaves, play around with colour and hark back to spring and summer.
But please, make it interesting and add something new/topical.
Those that are lucky enough to have flowers or other vegetative matter in our Northern Autumn and Winter, can still leave a mosaic on 'floral-mosaics'. I do so admire inventiveness. So see where you reckon you fit in.

little old vase
A small and dainty Doulton handmade vase, dating back to 1920 or thereabouts.
A pretty wee things, but clumsy me, I best stay out of the china shop! Thanks for joining the party this week, stop back any time. My world isn't very flowery these days, but it's still filled with beauty. I'll be by tomorrow.
There isn't much of this antique Doulton about anymore, so I consider myself a custodian of the bits I managed to find. Artisans were artists in those days. Their creations mean history to me. Much like lace. I would love to show some of that. Not as sturdy as your covered bridges, but just as beautiful.

It's a beautiful vase! It looks very delicate and fragile.
The vase is a true treasure. Wonderful color combinations.
